About SpectraQ

SpectraQ is an innovative team of engineers and aviators dedicated to providing the highest quality radio spectrum surveying and testing — on the ground, from the road, and especially from the air.

Our team pioneered the use of wideband spectrum recording for geolocating spurious radio emissions that can cause harmful interference to other operators, especially in the commercial wireless telecommunications and cable television markets. We have also been involved in many advanced radio research projects on several government contracts.

We operate a growing fleet of single- and twin-engine aircraft capable of carrying sophisticated radio surveying equipment — either as in-cabin rack-based systems or as wing-mounted, BRU-equipped pods.

SpectraQ was forged inside consulting giant ICF International beginning in 2011, and the team took the company private in 2015.
